October Square is located in the center of the city of Vologda. Residents of the city like to walk here with children on a newly built new playground, located away from residential buildings.
The Governor of the Vologda region established a national day of forest planting. For two years in a row, Vologda residents have been planting tree seedlings in the spring not only in October Square, but throughout the city.
In 2012, the Alley of Glory of veterans of the Great Patriotic War appeared in the park.
Recently, the park was reconstructed: new lawns were planted, monuments were restored, and paths were repaired. Now rollers can ride in the city center.
