Square on Victory Avenue in the city of Vologda

Russia, Vologda region. Vologda

Description:

From Liberty Square begins Victory Avenue. It is decorated with new fundamental buildings. On Victory Avenue in 1958, a square was laid, during the construction of a monument to V.I. Lenin.

Pierce and blue spruces were planted, flower beds were arranged. The square occupies an area of 0.2 hectares and is one of the attractions of the city of Vologda.

In the Soviet period, serious work was carried out on the reconstruction and landscaping of the square. Such work is carried out to this day. Residents of the city actively participate in it. Every year new tree seedlings appear in the park, so the garden seems young and well-groomed.
