Vologda State Technical University has a cozy square, which is very popular among students.
The square is located between the 5th building and the City House of Culture on Lenin Street. Previously, this place was an unkempt wasteland, which was located only cafe "Ice cream". The place is a “green triangle”, which is protected from the noise of Lenin Street by two young firs, and from parking by the dining room by a large spreading birch.
The created space is a wooden landscape that preserves the established hiking trails. Wooden paving flows from a long bench for temporary waiting into sunbeds with high backs, on which you can relax between lectures in the shade of fir trees.
