Russia, Vologda, October Street, 46 and 46a.
Description:
The ensemble of Vladimir churches in the city of Vologda was built in stone in the period from 1684-1764. In 1684-1689, a warm church of the Archangel Gabriel and a bell tower were built, in 1759-1764 - the cold Vladimir Church. The Vladimir church was made in the style of Russian Baroque, and the Church of Archangel Gabriel and the bell tower - in the style of Russian patchwork.
For a long time, the churches belonged to the Vladimir parish in Vologda, which was one of the richest.
The Vladimir Cold Church was closed in 1928, now there is a glass workshop in the temple building, and the Vladimir Warm Church was closed in 1930. The building is very much rebuilt, the drums and the dome with the cupola are dismantled.
The room is currently used for parking needs. The fence of churches is completely destroyed and the territory is littered, fenced, the pond between the temples is littered and overgrown. The approach to the monuments is difficult, the inspection inside is almost impossible. Churches need urgent restoration.
