The water tower in Vologda is located near the October Bridge. Due to its elegant and neat appearance, the tower invariably attracts the attention of tourists and is one of the attractions of the city.
Interestingly, this is the very first water tower, which was built in Vologda in 1898.
Note that in 1899, the water supply was put into operation, and in former times, local residents drew water from several wells or simply from the river, while the river of the same name in the XIX century was considered very polluted.
The tower is very elegant and directed upwards, in its external decor there are two colors, light brown and white, which create a very harmonious combination.
