House-Museum of N.M. Rubtsov

The museum works in the spiritual homeland of Nikolai Mikhailovich Rubtsov, in the village of Nikolsky, with which one way or another the short life of the poet was connected. In Nikolsky, he was brought up in an orphanage, completed a seven-year plan, later returned many times and lived here for a long time.

The museum was created in the building of the former administrative building of the Nikolsky orphanage and currently includes several thematic blocks: “Nikolskoe village and its history”, “Children’s childhood of Nikolai Rubtsov”, “Life path of Nikolai Rubtsov”, “Memorial room of the poet”, “History of the Museum of Nikolai Rubtsov”. In the collections there are a significant number of authentic objects associated with the name of the poet.

The Nikolai Rubtsov Museum is the spiritual and cultural center of the entire territory of the Tolsma River valley, which constantly attracts fans of Nikolai Mikhailovich’s creativity. In late July - early August, amateur poets from all over the country come to the annual holiday "Rubtsovsky Fire".
