Kichmengsko-Gorodetsky District Museum of Local Lore

Currently, the BUK "Local History Museum" is located in a two-storey brick building. In 2011, cosmetic repairs were carried out in the museum. The exposition and exhibition area is 336.5 sq. m., the area under storage of funds is 25.9 sq. m.

The museum has the following permanent exhibitions: “Ancient period”. Settlement of the region", "Orthodoxy in the district", "Peasant and philistine life. Development of Crafts, Hall of Combat Glory, exposition dedicated to the Navy (based on materials provided by the K.F. Petryashov Reserve Military Sailors Club). The museum is an integral part of the cultural life of the village, carefully preserves and develops the traditions of culture. Our district has a glorious history that goes back centuries. In all centuries, hardworking people, defenders of the Fatherland, patriots lived on our territory, who invested all their efforts in the development and prosperity of their native land.
