Ust-Cuban District Historical and Ethnographic Museum

In 2006, on the basis of the district historical and ethnographic museum, the municipal institution of culture "Ust-Kubinsky District Museum of Local Lore" was created. The main exposition was made up of exhibits that were collected on the territory of the Ust-Kubinsky district in 1986 by an expedition led by A.A. Rybakov.

Since 2011, the museum is located in the building of the former warm Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God built in 1848. In 2012, the construction of a new exposition of the district museum was completed. One exhibition and two exhibition halls are open for visitors. The main exposition of the museum is devoted to the history of the region, spiritual and cultural heritage, the development of crafts, crafts and industries.

For visitors of the museum, sightseeing tours, museum lessons, lectures, conferences, thematic events, evenings-meetings, holidays are held.

Municipal institution of culture "Ust-Kubinsky District Museum of Local Lore" has a branch "Nikolsky Park" - a natural monument "Old Park" in the village of Nikolsky Ust-Kubinsk municipal district. The area of the park is 12 hectares. On the territory of the park, events are organized to preserve and restore plantations and landscape planning of the park, scientific research, events to popularize the history and nature of the ancient park.
