The Church of the Manifestation of God

The Church of the Epiphany of the Lord in the village of Pekshevo, Voronezh region, was built on the site of the first wooden church in the village of Pekishevo, which existed here since the 17th century. In stone, the church was rebuilt already in the 19th century at the expense of merchant Alexandra Nechaeva. For a long time the church did not have its own priest due to the remoteness of the village from the rest of the Ramon district. The services were conducted by a priest from the neighboring village of Glushitsy. At the temple by the end of the 19th century, a rich library was collected. Today the church is destroyed and not functioning. By the decision of the Voronezh administration, it was recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage of regional significance.
