Fountain in Petrovsky Square

One of the most beautiful fountains of the city is located in Petrovsky Square, near the monument to Peter I, right in front of the entrance to the shopping complex and the hotel "Petrovsky Passage". The fountain opened and closed several times. During the last reconstruction of Petrovsky Square in 2007 in connection with the construction of the shopping complex and the hotel "Petrovsky Passage", the fountain was displaced 3 meters ahead. It was reopened for the day. Very interesting artistic solution of the fountain. The jets of water meet at one point, forming a water dome, then, burling and splashing, collapse down. At night, the fountain works with illumination, forming a glowing hemisphere of jets. In winter, a Christmas tree is installed on the site of the fountain.
