Monument to medical workers
Description:
The monument to medical workers is located in the square next to the building of one of the city hospitals. Originally planned in 2007, it was opened only a year later and became a gift to all Voronezh doctors and medical staff for the Day of Medical Worker. Funds for the manufacture of the monument were collected by local entrepreneurs, citizens and the regional administration.
The monument is a sculptural composition consisting of a bronze figure on a pedestal lined with white marble. Above the sculpture stands an arch of black marble, as well as a small wall, on which the inscription "Medical workers of Voronezh is dedicated." In front of the monument is a flowerbed with live flowers.
