Voronezh Regional Museum of Local History

In the main building there is a full-profile historical and natural exhibition. It is constantly updated and expanded.

The exposition has more than 3,000 items located in 18 halls, and reflects the main milestones of the history of the region in the sections: “Archaeology”, “Pre-Mongol period”, “Foundation of the city of Voronezh”, “Shipbuilding in the Voronezh Territory”, “Voronezh Territory in the XVIII – first half of the XIX century”, “Voronezh Territory during the Peasant Reform of 1861”, “Voronezh Province in the Post-Reform Period”. The second half of the XIX - the beginning of the XX century, Voronezh Territory during the First World War, Revolutionary events of 1917 in the Voronezh Territory, Voronezh Territory during the Civil War, socio-economic situation in the 1920-1930s, Voronezh Region in the postwar period.
