The Vyatsko-Polyansk Historical Museum was created on the basis of the national museum of local lore on the initiative of the intelligentsia of the city. It has been in the modern building since 1979 and is now preparing to move to a new building.
The exposition of the museum covers the rich history of the formation and development of the city of Vyatsky Polyany from the origins - the creation of the monastery 400 years ago - to the modern city, called the "Pearl of the Vyatka Territory". |
