Description:
The architectural complex of the XVI-XVIII centuries includes two buildings: the House of a rich citizen and the Karetnik. The estate is located on the oldest street of Vyborg – Progonnaya, 100 meters from the Market Square.
The burger’s house is the only surviving residential building in medieval Vyborg, open to tourists. There are preserved interiors with a working fireplace, vaulted and wooden ceilings. Today, in the house of a rich Swedish citizen, he works in the Vyborg Info Center for tourists, a souvenir shop of local craftsmen, an exhibition hall and a cultural center.
