The historic station building, built in 1913, was destroyed during World War II. The current station building was built in the Soviet period.
The modern building of the station is a typical example of the station architecture of the provincial Stalin Empire. The authors of the project - A. V. Vasiliev, D. S. Goldgor, S. B. Speransky and A. N. Berkov
