Initially, the church community was formed in 1990. The joint-stock company ALROSA, the Administration of Mirny Ulus in 1994 provided sponsorship for the purchase of a private house on the street. Gagarin and converting it into a house of prayer. The parish received its name in honor of the Holy Trinity. The first abbot was appointed priest Dimitri Povalyaev. In the same year, on the feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God, on October 14, the first Divine Liturgy was held in the Holy Trinity Church.
In 1995, the leadership of ALROSA decided to build a new church. On May 9, 1996, a stone was laid at the future construction site. July 22, 1996 - the consecration and laying of a memorial letter and a cross in the foundation of the church structure by His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexy II.
