Partisan street, 1/1, village of Amga

About the company:

The Amga Museum in Yakutia was founded in 1965 on the initiative of veterans of the civil war. The exposition of the museum is dedicated to the siege of Sasyl-Sysy and the heroic defense of Amga. In 1983, the artist K.V. Rastorguev created a diorama representing the events of those years. Here are stored personal belongings and documents of E. I. Kurashov, I. Y. Strode, K. K. Baikalov and many other heroes of the civil war.

The museum also has sections dedicated to the life of peasants and the Russian writer V. G. Korolenko, who served a exile here.
