Yaroslavl

Classic genre: sightseeing tour of Yaroslavl

Description:

"Classics of the genre" - a walk through the UNESCO zone! We will visit the place where the wooden Kremlin was born - the place of the chopped city. It was here, according to legend, Yaroslav the Wise ordered "to cut down the city in his name." We will find out why there was never a stone Kremlin in Yaroslavl and how a bear appeared on the coat of arms of the city (yes, this is exactly “she”!) with a sequira. We will walk along the Strelka and the ancient Volga embankment, whose history dates back two hundred years.

After studying the history of medieval temples and tiles, we will find ourselves at the famous Fyodor Volkov Theater - the first Russian professional theater. Let’s talk about the skomorok and representations of the XVIII century! During a walk around the city, of course, we will not ignore the central pedestrian street of Kirov, and Epiphany Square with the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve, and old factory buildings (for example, confectionery). We will learn that, it turns out, Yaroslavl in the thousand-year history was ruined to the ground three times!

I will tell you stories about Nikolai Alekseevich Nekrasov and Leonid Sobinov, merchants of the Skripin brothers and Valentin Tereshkova, and necessarily about the “Yaroslavl character”!

During the tour you will have the opportunity to visit the existing temples, inquire about souvenirs, and in the cold season warm up with a cup of tea or coffee!

You may have to be on your side, or on your side.
