In the estate "Karabikha" N.A. Nekrasov (literary)

This excursion in 15 km from the historical center of Yaroslavl will introduce you to the life and creative way of Nekrasov, his milestones in the history of childhood and adult life spent on the Yaroslavl land. "Literary Yaroslavl." 10 summer seasons in his native land he spent here in the museum-estate "Karabiha".

In the estate of N.A. Nekrasov you will feel a pleasant atmosphere - quietly, mysteriously, only unforgettable museum slippers rustle through the old parquets. You will be able to feel a very exquisite aroma of the life of the Nekrasov family, trace the history of the two-hundred-year-old estate; in this you will be helped by numerous family photos, documents, books, luxurious furniture, wall cladding preserved from the last century. And guns, hunting supplies, and pawn tables with maps laid out on them remind us that the poet was owned not only by the most sublime of human passions.

You will visit the personal rooms of the poet, see ancient interiors that will help you to be transported to the past and plunge into the atmosphere of measured manor life of the second half of the XIX century;

You will make an exciting journey along the paths of an ancient noble manor, get acquainted with the features of the manor garden and park architecture, get pleasure from a walk along the shady alleys of parks.

Excursion to the exposition “Do not be afraid of bitter oblivion...” in the Big House of the estate and the memorial department of the museum – the personal rooms of the poet (Eastern wing). Ancient interiors, personal belongings of the poet, photographs, books, manuscripts... Here everything keeps the memory of N.A. Nekrasov, his work, hobbies and interests, the way of life of the poet in the village among relatives and close people in the summer months of 1862-1875.

The tour includes the work of a guide and entrance tickets to the complex and the museum spaces of the estate.

Upon request, an additional excursion is carried out inside the museum spaces for expositions with a museum guide (payment is additionally at the museum box office);
