My name is Gavrilova Irina Valentinovna. I was born and live in Uglich. I work for one of the businesses in the city. Local studies have become an important part of my life. I am one of the organizers of the Uglich Family and Local Lore Society. I have been conducting excursions since 1990, after I graduated from the school of guides at the State Museum of the Uglich Kremlin.

I would love to introduce you to our millennial city! You will admire the unique architecture of Uglich, breathe the air of its gray antiquity, touch the bricks of half a century ago and listen to the story about the events that occurred in Uglich at the end of the 16th century, which shocked not only the city, but the whole country. I would like to show you the surroundings of Uglich - the ancient village of Uleima with an Old Believer monastery, the sweet and quiet Trinity, on the Ustya River with a temple that was not closed even in God-fighting times and the village of Zaozerie with its stunning historical past.
