Hey, everybody! My name is Alexey and I am a tour guide by vocation.
My activity as a guide began in the distant 90s, back in the days of studenthood. Now I am a certified tour guide with good experience.
I am in love with the history of my native land and my city, and this feeling is not accidental, but how else, when history literally flows in the blood? All my ancestors, for 12 generations - from the Yaroslavl land. Among them are peasants who converted to philistineism, priests, ministers of the bishops’ house, artisans, merchants-old believers and even participants in the not-unknown Yaroslavl rebellion.
A deep fascination with local history, history of a kind and antiquity allows me not only to show sights, but to share the connection of eras and animated stories about the fate of people who made this story.

I'll show you Yaroslavl -- it's not just a collection of UNESCO monuments. It is the energy of entrepreneurship, patronage and family traditions accumulated over the centuries. It was built not by faceless “builders”, but by bright, ambitious people with their passions, successes and defeats, among them my ancestors. And their spirit still lives in stone and in their descendants.

Yaroslavl, as you will see it - with its golden domes, strong houses, theaters and museums - is largely created by the efforts of enterprising people. It is not a frozen history, it is a living city that continues to live on thanks to the energy that my ancestors put into it. I am happy to share with you a piece of this story.

The tour is conducted on behalf of a person whose ancestors directly influenced the appearance of the city, whose family memory stores not book facts, but personal memories, legends and true emotions.
