The Temple of the Savior of the Unmade Image

d. Yaroslavl, 4th Ivankovskaya, 54

Description:

The temple of the Unmade Image was built in Yaroslavl at the expense of local parishioners in 1779. Over the centuries, the walls of the church have retained their strength, as they are made of stone.

According to the original project, the church had one dome, but after reconstruction in the first half of the XIX century, their number increased to 5.

During the Soviet years, the church was closed, but returned to the Russian Orthodox Church in 1990, after which its restoration began, and divine services resumed.

The temple is located in close proximity to a natural spring with crystal clear water. Every year, the rite of water consecration is performed here, timed to Orthodox holidays.

At the temple there is a parish school and a small library. This is a great place for those who want to receive the Sacrament of Baptism.
