Planetarium

d. Yaroslavl ul. Tchaikovsky, 3

Description:

Officially, the planetarium of Yaroslavl is called the Cultural and Educational Center named after V.V. Tereshkova. Within its walls, you can spend time studying the starry sky with interest, and participate in interactive lessons or see an educational film.

The architecture of the planetarium is unique in its own way: its twelve-meter dome is able to show the viewer more than 7,000 stars and move it to the night streets of the city without clouds or flickering electric lights. Constellations and planets will open to the eyes of astonished guests in all their glory, and digital projectors will take you on a journey among the shining space.

The visitor can choose to study the museum of cosmonautics, go to the attraction "Shuttle" or visit the educational program for schoolchildren. The star room will open the doors to new discoveries through films for junior students, and the astronomical laboratory has a telescope with which you can see all the planets of the solar system and thousands of other interesting objects.

Nearest stops: "Park of the 1000th anniversary of the city of Yaroslavl" and "Tchaikovsky". They are respectively buses 18m, 49, 72 and trolley buses with numbers 5 and 6.
