Memorial House-Museum of L.V. Sobinov

Excursions are held for adults and children of any age. For younger children (6-10 years old) is offered a tour "In the house of an extraordinary boy". Each tour ends with listening to the musical recordings of L.V. Sobinov in 1901-1911.

The museum cooperates with music teachers engaged in children's vocals, there are consultations and auditions. The museum is the co-founder of the Sobinov Children’s Vocal Competition, which is held 1 time every 2 years and gathers children engaged in academic singing from all over Russia. In the break between the competitions, participants, diploma winners, winners of the competition unite in a creative group working at the museum. The result of the joint work of the museum staff, teachers and children is the original concert programs performed within the walls of the museum. One of these programs is “Music of childhood and youth of L.V. Sobinov”, in which the favorite works of the Sobinov family are played, often performed in a friendly circle and in a gymnasium choir.

The museum maintains contacts with students of the Sobinov Music School, the oldest music school in the city No. 1 named after Sobinov, students of the vocal department of the Yaroslavl Theatre Institute, the creative team of music teachers and students of music classes of school No. 33, amateur singers.

In the concert hall of the museum, the Yaroslavl branch of the Moscow Chaliapin Center holds its musical collections. The museum is also a stage platform open to all music lovers, open for communication and joint creative projects. There's music here, baby voices.
