Museum "Cosmos" in the homeland of V.V. Tereshkova

The museum is located in the village of Nikulskoe. It was born Valentina Tereshkova, who went down in history as the first woman astronaut. The exposition highlights the contribution of Tereshkova and other residents of the region to the development of domestic astronautics. Among them is designer M.K. Tikhonravov, cosmonaut pilot, hero of Russia, V.I. Tokarev. In the museum you can see the costumes of the first cosmonauts, models of rocket and space equipment, the lodging of the space chair, the Vostok type apparatus of 1962 and many others. The highlight of the museum is that some exhibits visitors can try on themselves and take memorable photos. Thematic exhibitions are periodically organized in the exhibition hall- foyer.
