The Museum of Military Glory was opened on October 16, 1981 to the 40th anniversary of the formation of the Yaroslavl 234th Communist Division. The only museum in the city dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, it is a branch of the Yaroslavl Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve.
