Museum and exhibition center of the village of Paranga

Ugh. New D.2, Paranga

About the company:

For the museum and exhibition center, a room with an area of 50 square meters in the POSH building was provided. Within a month, the room was repaired, protective bars on the windows and a metal door were installed.

Having a small area, the museum staff had to combine all the themes in one room. Much attention was paid to military topics: stands dedicated to the Soviet period, the Great Patriotic War, Gainan Kurmashev and members of the anti-fascist underground organization and our countryman, patriotic poet Mansur Gayazov were decorated. The showcases are placed in such a way that each section is dedicated to a specific era or historical theme. Going from one storefront to another, the visitor seems to travel in time – this creates a sense of continuity of history.

The second half of the room is devoted to culture, home life, religion of the peoples living in the Paranga district. The main goal of the museum is the formation of tolerant thinking, openness to others, the desire and ability to understand it, to cultivate respect for someone else’s culture and at the same time to prevent the loss of their roots. The materials are richly illustrated, systematized, which makes it possible and convenient to use them in the work of teachers, students, as well as in the lessons of the history of culture of the peoples of Mari El.
