The Yurinsky Historical and Art Museum named after Gennady Pavlovich Losev is not only the pride of the Yurinsky district, but also a reliable keeper of the historical memory and heritage of the past eras of the Yurinsky district. The famous local historian of the Yurinsky district G.P. Losev collected and brought collections not only from the expanses of the Motherland, but also from abroad.

The museum started functioning in 1972. Its funds have unique relics, have objects of tourist and excursion display and are actively used in the development of domestic tourist destination. Having resumed its activities in November 2019 in a new building once owned by Nikolai Nikolayevich Losev, the museum has become a permanent place of visit among the younger generation - schoolchildren of the Yurinsky district.

In the halls, exhibition expositions of various directions are prepared. The military-patriotic exposition introduces the names of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, objects of soldier’s life. The exposition “Peasant hut” is filled with household products, utensils that were in the use of ancestors. The expositions dedicated to the products of the sculptor animalist Kozhin P.M. and the collection of samovars are of the greatest interest to visitors, because almost every thing stores the spirituality of a person, his thought and beauty, skill.
