Cape Giant is a natural monument of regional importance of the Sakhalin region. It is located in the southeast of Sakhalin, the east coast of the Tonino-Anivsky Peninsula. Cape Giant is considered one of the most beautiful places on Sakhalin. The cape is interesting because there are many “Kekurs” near it. These are pillar-shaped rocks of various bizarre shapes. In summer, Giant is a favorite place for tourists, both residents of the island and guests of the island region. In winter, due to the difficult terrain, you can get to the Giant on snow only on foot, skiing or snowmobiles. But in the cold season, the cape acquires a special charm.
