The lake is a beautiful lagoon lake on Sakhalin. The lake is located in the Uglegorsk municipal district of Sakhalin Island. Right on the shore of the lake there is a small town of Shakhtersk, where about 8 thousand people live. There's a railroad nearby.
The lake is small, its area is 3.1 kilometers. Through the lake flows the river Dno. It should be noted that the flowing lake is very clean. Here in winter and summer there are many fishing lovers.
