Tower - Bell Tower (Red Hill)

The White Bell Tower, 54 meters high, is located in the P. P. Bazhov Mountain Park on the Red Hill. On the first floor of the Tower there is a chapel, next to it a monument to St. John Chrysostom, in whose honor the city is named.

Up to the bell tower leads a staircase consisting of 184 steps. At an altitude of 23 meters there is a circular observation deck, which offers a magnificent view of Chrysostom and the surrounding mountains. The bell is located at a height of 36 m. the Bell of Blagovest (weight 1300 kg, diameter 1.2 m) was cast in the city of Kamensk-Uralsky at the enterprise "Pyatkov and Co." If you strike a bell and make a wish, it will come true!

The opening of the tower took place in 2006 and was timed to the 1600th anniversary of the glorification of St. John Chrysostom. The tower was built on the funds of the Zlatoust plant "Stroytechnica" and donations of citizens.

You can climb with an excursion to the Bell Tower daily from 10-00 to 19-00 hours. Excursions begin every half hour.

Near the tower is the P. P. Bazhov Mountain Park, here you will be met by the heroes of the Bazhov Tales.

On the territory of the park there are souvenir shops, workshops, museums and cafes "Veselukhin spoon", where you can enjoy tea from a "copper-baked" samovar with a volume of 70 liters, which is drowned in the old-fashioned wood.
