On Kosotur and on him
Description:
Mount Kosotur can be considered the hallmark of Chrysostom. It is located in the historical center. An ecotrail equipped with two observation decks is laid here, a 120-meter staircase march is mounted at the beginning of the trail, information houses are installed along the entire route, there is free parking for vehicles.
The dominant of the trail was the figure of an elk installed on the top (from the story of S. Vlasova “The Tale of Kosotur Mountain”). In 1987, Mount Kosotur was declared a natural monument of the Chelyabinsk region.
The route includes climbing the Kosotur rocks.
The duration of the tour is 1 - 1.5 hours. The length of the route is 1 km.
The route runs from May to October.
Necessary equipment: sports shoes on a hard sole (shoes, shoes, boots), weather clothing: tracksuit, jacket, rain cape, cape, gloves, mittens.
