Zlatoust is a large industrial center in the Southern Urals, a center of high-quality metallurgy and the production of decorated cold weapons, the birthplace of the Russian bulat, the first Russian steel cannon, Russian engraving on steel.
Sightseeing tour of the city includes acquaintance with the architectural ensemble of the historical center of Chrysostom, formed in the first half of the XIX century: the main office of the management of the mountain district, the Arsenal, the Armory Factory, the House of the Mining Chief, the monument to the scientist-metallurgist P. P. Anosov.
On the station square you will see a monument to I. N. Bushuev - the founder of Zlatoust engraving on steel.
In the area of the new Chrysostom, visit the Memorial of Glory - a monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, the Temple complex of Seraphim of Sarov (a monument to the Russian Emperor, passion-bearer Nicholas II) and the Red Hill area, where you will see the Bell Tower with the chapel of John Chrysostom, the monument to Saint and the P. P. Bazhov Mountain Park, go up to the observation deck of the park.
