Avala

Mount Avala: (511 m; 18 km from Belgrade): Monument to Soviet war veterans - erected in 1965 on the site where Soviet heroes died in a plane crash on October 19, 1964; The monument to the Unknown Hero is located on the top of Mount Avala, in the form of a mausoleum with caryatids, representing women in traditional costumes from all parts of Yugoslavia; The tower was destroyed during the bombing in 1999 and in 2010 the tower was completely reconstructed and opened to visitors.

Arangelovac:

The town of Arangelovac is known for its white marble sculptures (every summer there is a festival called "Marble and Sound"), healing waters and climate. Bukovitskaya Bath Resort is a specialized hospital for the treatment of adults and children (rheumatic diseases, neurological diseases, diabetes...). The well-known brand of bottled mineral water "Prince Milos" (this bottled water was supplied to Prince Milos...).

Topola:

The town of Topol lies 80 km south of Belgrade; "Konak Karageorgija" (XIX century) - the residence of Karageorgija became a museum where personal belongings and weapons of that period are presented, the Church of the Blessed Virgin also known as the Church of Karageorgija. Both the museum and the church recall the city’s glorious past.

The Church of St. George is the mausoleum of the Karadjorgevic dynasty, decorated with copies of the best wall paintings of the Serbian medieval style. The interior is represented by mosaic frescoes depicting sixty Serbian monasteries. There are 725 compositions and 1500 figures from 40 million pieces of a mosaic of 15,000 different shades. The church is lined with white marble and crowned with five beautiful domes.

Petrov House: Built in 1910; from the very beginning, King Peter I settled in it with indispensable servants, watching from here the construction of his zaduzhbin ... today there is a museum dedicated to the era of the reign of this dynasty.
