Ružica Church is the oldest church in Belgrade, located close to the walls of the Belgrade Fortress. This church is called sacred. People of different faiths come to this church. There are those who believe in God and seek healing from their pain.
The church was consecrated in honor of the Most Holy Mother of God.
In front of the central entrance to the church are bronze guards of the First World War. Inside the church is decorated with chandeliers, which are made of shell casings, cold weapons, cannonballs and ammunition details of Solunsk Front soldiers. That is why the official website of the Society of Lovers of the Unusual included this church in the top ten of the most unusual and unique churches in the world.
