Museum of Aeronautics in Belgrade

The Aeronautics Museum in Belgrade can be seen immediately at the exit from Nikola Tesla Airport. The exterior of the museum is already attracting attention – a building made of glass and concrete in the form of a UFO rises above the ground among the trees. Old equipment is placed around, mainly Soviet-made. In the part of the exhibition, where the models completely collapsed, entry is prohibited.

Well thought out exposition inside the museum. There are exhibits of the beginning of aeronautics, the Second World War and the trophies of the last war with NATO in 1999.

In total, the museum’s collection includes more than 200 aircraft, 130 aircraft engines, several radars, missiles, various equipment, a library and photographs.

Visiting the museum is better combined with arrival or departure from Belgrade.
