Kurundu Falls

central part of the island, south of Nuwar Eliya, Sri Lanka

Description:

Waterfalls, whatever they are, always catch your eye. And, no doubt, their popularity is deserved.

In the center of Sri Lanka on a rather limited area there are several grandiose waterfalls at once.

One of them is Kurundu.

The height of the fall of the waterfall is 210 meters. It is the third largest waterfall in Sri Lanka. The greatest impression makes during the monsoon season, when its power and pressure are admired. During drought, the volume of water in the waterfall decreases significantly.
