Nuwara Eliya

"EXOTIC SHRI LANKA"

Description:

Day 1

Meet and greet the Russian-speaking representative of Let's See Asia in the waiting room.

Moving to Gampola. Climb to the top - Ambulawawa.

Ambuluvaw Temple is a fantastic place located in Gampol. The area is located on a summit called Ambuluwawa, about 3,500 feet from sea level.
Also, although it’s called the Ambuluwawa Temple, it’s not just a typical Buddhist temple where only Buddhist devotees come, it’s here that believers in all four major religions of Sri Lanka have separate places to worship. It is also a unique tourist destination, not a religious destination.

In 2006, Ambuluwawa Peak was established as a biodiversity complex and multi-faith center. This hill is known as a place of great biodiversity. The hill is built of unique stone, and it is believed that the stone undergoes minimal erosion.

Moving to Nuwara Eliya. Observing waterfalls and tea plantations.

Nuwara Eliya. High-mountain resort "city of light", located at an altitude of 1884 m above sea level at the foot of Mount Pidurutalagala, the highest peak of Sri Lanka. A mild favorable climate (average annual temperature of +15 - +20 degrees), picturesque meadows and valleys, mountain landscapes - all this made Nuwara Eliya a very popular resort. Nuwara Eliya is known as Little England. An excellent 18-hole golf course – one of the best in Southeast Asia – is known all over the world to true lovers of this sport.

Moving to Ella Mountain District. Check-in at the selected hotel.

The evening climb to Adam's small peak and the meeting of the sunset.

Little Adam’s Peak is located in the mountainous part and although the peak is called small, it is named after the sacred peak of Adam (Mount Sri Pada, where the imprint of the foot of the Buddha is preserved), and also because of some similarity between these two peaks. Climbing to the top is not difficult and ends with a noteworthy panorama. Climbing up through lush tea plantations, waterfalls, and rice fields, you can fully enjoy the fabulous mountain panoramas.
