Ravana Ella Falls
Ravana Falls, Demodara, Sri Lanka
Description:
Ravana Ella Falls is the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka.
It is named after King Ravana, a mythical character known to many in the great epic poem Ramayana. The height of the waterfall is about 25 meters, but its main flow is 9 meters.
It has cascades of oval and concave shape. On each of them, the water acquires different shades, which makes this natural wonder even more attractive. In the rainy season, mountain baths are formed in which you can swim. This place is also famous for the fact that near the waterfall there is a mystical cave of the same name.
