The Goethe Alvbron Bridge

Goeta Alvbron is a lifting post located in the central part of the city of Gothenburg. It is important because it provides important transport routes for trams, cars, bicycles and pedestrians.

The structure of Goethe Alvbron was completed in 1939, and in 1966 its dimensions were significantly expanded. The total length of the bridge is 927 meters, and its width is 20 meters.

The Goethe Alvbron lifting bridge is most beautiful in the dark, when it is lit by thousands of lights and pleases with unique views.
