Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport, opened in 1977, has an asphalt runway 3,299 meters long. This international airport is the second largest in Sweden.
The airport has two terminals: for external and domestic flights. In the waiting room are concentrated shops, a restaurant and a cafe. Near the airport, 500 meters from it, there is a hotel for airport passengers. Also on the territory of the airport there is a parking, tourist offices, a medical center, a chapel, the Internet, a playground and storage rooms. The main airlines are Transwede Airways and TUIfly Nordic.
