Gothenburg City Airport is one of two airports serving Gothenburg. It was founded in 1940 as a military base and has since operated with only one passenger terminal.
The airport has everything for the convenience of passengers: a medical center, parking, shops, restaurants, a tourist office and bank offices.
The airport has two asphalt runways with a length of 2,036 and 871 meters.
The airport can be reached by buses provided by Flygbussarna. Buses run regularly, but it is recommended to buy tickets in advance, because they are not sold either at the airport or on the bus.
Arrive at the airport for check-in is desirable 2.5 hours before the departure time, which is indicated on the ticket, and to get on domestic flights - 1.5 hours.
