Helsingborg

Fredrikdoles Mansion

Oscar Trapps vä g 10, Helsingborg, Sweden

Description:

One of the many architectural attractions of Helsingborg is the Fredrikdols mansion, built in 1787 for the Koster family. It is a white building, made in the Gustavian style, on both sides of which there are two small utility rooms. One was previously used as a kitchen and the other as a warehouse for inventory. In the interior decoration of the building, as well as in the external, calm pastel tones prevail. Particular attention should be paid to the decoration of the mansion - beautiful antique furniture, chandeliers, sets and paintings preserved from the time of construction.

In 1880, near the mansion Fredrikdols formed a beautiful park, made in the English style – narrow winding alleys, examples of garden art, a small pond and many other elements that betray this place of special elegance.

Currently, on the territory of the Fredrikdolls mansion there is a museum, after visiting which you can enjoy antiquities, as well as learn the details of the history of Helsingborg.
