Lille Square
Lilla torg, 211 34 Malmo, Sverige
Description:
Lilla Torj (literally "Small Square") was founded in the city of Malmo in 1592, with the aim of expanding the commercial area. Trade has been simmering here for several centuries, and it continues to this day. This is one of the centers of nightlife of the city - bars, restaurants, cafes, pubs and dance floors open their doors for you.
Around the square are medieval half-timbered houses, which have survived in their original state. In various shops you can buy folk crafts. It also houses the Form Design Center, which hosts themed exhibitions dedicated to the design and crafts of Scandinavia, as well as selling books, toys, ceramic and glass products.
If you go to Malmo on Christmas Eve, visit Lilla Torje Square to see the huge table lamp, which reaches a height of 6 meters. At the bottom of the lamp is a kind of benches, on which you can conveniently sit under a luminous lampshade and listen to how the lamp can talk.
