Stockholm-Skavsta Airport
Description:
The international airport, located near the city of Nücöping, has two asphalt runways with a length of 2,878 and 2,039 meters. It serves cargo and low-cost companies. More than 2 million people pass through this airport annually.
The airport was established as a military air base in the 1940s. He became a civilian only in 1984. The first international flight from London to Stansted, the airport took in 1997. Over time, new routes were opened, including to Eastern Europe. The airport currently serves Gotlandsflyg, Ryanair, Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia and Wizz Air.
