Sightseeing tour of Stockholm
Description:
During the tour you will visit the most beautiful islands of Stockholm, see the main sights of the city and get acquainted with its history. We will stop at the observation deck, from which you can see almost the entire “historic” Stockholm, go to the Town Hall – the hallmark of the city, drive to the oldest building in Stockholm – the Royal Shrine and walk through the medieval streets, including the narrowest.
During the tour you will learn why Stockholm is called Stockholm and how the name of the city is translated. Find out where Carlson lived and why the Swedes dislike him. Where did Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna Romanova live and why did she return to Russia? You will learn how Sweden won the right to the Nobel Foundation in France, and much more.
The duration of the tour is 3 hours. If you are interested in any special theme of the city, a thematic individual tour will be “shortened” for you.
