Christmas Stockholm
Description:
Christmas in Sweden is a special time. The eve of the holiday is usually celebrated with the family, so if you do not have close friends in Sweden, then the likelihood of being at a feast and getting in touch with this magical tradition almost disappears.
On my Christmas walk, you can learn everything about Swedish Christmas. What is not without any such holiday? What do you eat for Christmas? Who are Kalle Anka and Yultomten, whom all Swedes look forward to? What is the “gift of the year” and what do many Swedes want to see during Christmas? Our walk will take place along the famous NK department store, the showcases of which each year amazingly decorate the tidy way to the First Advent. By the way, about what Advent is, and why it is so dear to the Swedes, we will also definitely talk! We’ll also take a look at the country’s largest Christmas tree, see some of the most incredible Christmas lighting masterpieces, and visit a free ginger house exhibition (except Monday, until January 6).
