Monument to Evert Tobu
Description:
Evert Tob, modern Swedish bard (1890–1976)
The singer is dressed in sombrero and poncho, holding his lute in one hand. With his other hand, he makes a gesture that seems to draw attention to the beauty of Stockholm. The sculpture is a gift "from friends", carved from granite from the island of Vinga, where Tob was born. The sculpture was installed in 1990.
