Monument "Sun Sail" or "Ear of the KGB"

On the shores of Lake Milaren, on the embankment of Knight’s Island in Stockholm stands an unusual sculpture created in 1966 by Christian Berg. Made of concrete, the sculpture has several names: “Sun Sail”, “Stockholm Ear”, “KGB Ear”.

This is where Stockholm begins. This object is a must visit during a sightseeing tour of Stockholm. Many tourists do not miss the opportunity to capture an unusual monument.

From the embankment there is a view of other sights of the city, for example, the city hall, where the solemn ceremony of awarding the Nobel Prizes takes place.
