Wallenberg Monument
Description:
The monument to Raoul Wallenberg is located on the square in his name, next to the synagogue. On the balloon is an inscription in many languages: "The road was straight when the Jews were taken away to kill them." The road was crooked, dangerous and full of obstacles as the Jews tried to escape the murderers. On one side the inscription “Aaron Isaac” is the first unbaptized Jew of Sweden, on the other hand “Raoul Wallenberg” is written.
